KLF with John Higgs

In 1991 The KLF were the best-selling singles band in the world. They had awards, credibility and creative freedom. Three years later they split up, actively began to remove themselves from musical history – and burnt the million pounds they made from the band, in a remote boathouse on the Scottish isle of Jura. On the surface, The KLF were one of the oddest stories in the history of pop. But under the surface, things were much weirder…John Higgs, author of ‘KLF: Chaos, Magic and the Band who Burned £1million, recounts their strange history, complete with a soundtrack from their classic Chill Out album.
